Palms Out Mix Series Vol. 3: DJ Weekend

The Palms Out Mix Series is back with Volume 3. A rumpshaking mix of party music from our friend, DJ Weekend, entitled How the Lower Half Moves – to make sure you don’t forget summer is still here, and it’s your duty to dance! Weekend has also hooked you all up with another one of his bumping bootlegs, this time it’s the kiwi boys, Flight of the Conchords, and their song “Business Time” that gets the DJ Weekend treatment. Love the mix.

But the DJ Tonedeaf “Business Time” remix, phew, what a stinker. Somebody hand him an EQ, too.

Agreed about the EQ. But I kinda like the FOTC remix! I mean the original is off key too, right?

Nope. The original is perfectly in key, the re-recorded version for the TV show even more so. The DJ Tonedeaf remix, however, is at least 20ct off from the samples. I guess he used some tool that doesn’t allow for synths to be finetuned.
