A couple of weeks ago I asked people to send in their best festival miracles and horrors, and while I had many an exciting horror story, I was most charmed by aussie Michael Skolnik’s little Beastie Boy miracle. It was a miracle.I’m from Australia, work as a glassy in a hotel. Who rocks up to stay at our hotel – The Beastie Boys. They were playing at the Goodvibes festival 2007.
I was sent to pickup some dry cleaning (about a thhhhouuusaand shirts!), to get the shock of my life when they opened their hotel door. Had a little chat with them when they asked “You coming to goodvibes?”. As I couldn’t afford it and didn’t have tickets, they just said “We’ll hook you up”. So I got put on their VIP list with 6 mates, was fuckin’ unreaaaal.Thats my miracle haha.
