As usual, a dope mix. I saw SOS open for Kool at Radio City, Mary Davis rules, Jimmy and Terry lost their Prince/Time gig for working with them (late/missed a plane). I guess that worked out. Hail to brother Jimi Tunnel wailing backgrounds on “Let the Music Play.” What’s up with Jeff?

Jazzy Jeff was just up here in Canada eh! I know he did a set in our nation’s capital last week, and from there, I’m not sure. I had heard he was still touring around these days before coming so close to home.

I saw Jeff with the roots last year at radio city, and he was fucking great- all old school electro and turntable tricks. short set, but very fun.
