Allright AC Slater’s not bad, even though I prefer the original, The Chew Fu remix has me throwing up honestly, and I can’t find the DJ Sega thing. The thing is everything kind of sounds likes some bad version of Raw Man, Revolte or Danger : to my mind, remix sunday used to be eclectic in music styles, which is not the case anymore I think, and that’s too bad…
Like a year ago maybe, I used to be starving for remix sunday, now I’m only coming to palmsout like twice a month, and that sucks…
(Sorry, I know my english sucks, but I’ve got attenuating circumstances : I’m French :D )

Typically I can find a few I like on here every week but not much luck today. I liked the “Let the Sunshine” alot except for that overplayed sample through the entire thing. “OOO.. CHA… OOO… CHA” jesus we heard that so many times through the 90s i just get sick when i hear it. COMPLETELY ruined an otherwise fun song.
Radio head remix was enjoyable I suppose.
other than that, the rest of this is uninteresting noise. sorry D;

Ya hes definitely got talent. I didn’t like todays chew fu remix but ive liked some in the past quite a bit. especially that jill scott ‘golden’ remix. still put that on sometimes ^_^ ty chew keep it up.

The Radiohead remix is awesome!
It has that hint of professionalism that most other tracks in here is missing.. its well mixed and very well done!
The last track that i enjoyed more than this track, was “Dangerous” with Busta Rhymes – Night Facilities Remix!

gonna agree with anon on here. Remix sunday is no were near as good as it was last year at this time. its not the names that matter to be but the amount of talent used. Writting a single line (no matter how epic) repeating it over and over again, and throwing some cut up lyrics on top of it is not a good remix in my book. Now there are a few good ones every week (maybe one or 2) but for the most part, i find myself deleting tracks rather then keeping the entire remix set like I used to :(.

ok people, heres the deal.
doing this every week for 123 weeks is not a small task. every week, there are more and more submissions. and every week, it takes longer and longer to put together. couple that with the fact that i am constantly on the road, and without proper internet- this can be a pain in the ass sometimes! so i appreciate that you guys want me to put the detailed care into choosing songs that i used to have time for, but sorry. i dont have that time anymore.
i dont censor anyone on these comments boards, but it is getting tedious to bust my ass to get you guys all this music every last week, and then receive all this complaining.
for example, if you want ed banger, dubsided, and van she remixes all the time, then fucking buy them. i have always made an effort to support NEW, EMERGING, artists- and do my best to throw in a couple of old favorites as well. the artists that were being featured on remix sunday a year ago, well, most of them thankfully do not need my promo any more- so its time for you all to BUY their records.
i could go on and on responding to every last complaint, but why?!!
i said a few weeks ago (but i'm sure not many read it) that i had come up with the solution to the remix sunday dilemma, but that it would take a little while to get it rolling. this is still true. would you guys prefer if i just stopped doing remix sunday, and then maybe started it up again in a few months?? i doubt this would be preferable to anyone, but maybe i'm wrong. would it?
palms out is a lot more than just a blog – thankfully the 12" & digital label is doing really well, and we have many new releases coming. we throw parties all over the world, and help develop artists to the point where they can start earning money from their music. plus we all travel, and most of gig as well, many of us have day jobs, which makes full time straight up blogging kinda harder.
if you like palms out, then please do your best to support us. basically- i get the message, people, every week, but youre not solving anything by complaining- so give it a rest.
i love you all no matter what. but i have a threshold for criticism like everyone else.

still lovin the remix sunday, but will we see another sample wednesday again soon? i realize both are incredibly time consuming, but i have LOVED checking out where a lot of up and comers get their samples from. hell, most of the time i enjoy the original track better than the one that sampled it! :)

From a London undergroud perspective this blog is massively influential. Radio playlists, top D.j’s and labels are all watching this site.
The Radiohead remix this week is propper tingly-times, lifechanging loveliness.. And the Ghostbusters is quality for those who enjoy the original – very well crafted piece of deep daft punkness..
I relish the true artist support here.

I think I speak for myself as well as others in Boston (and the northeast in general) We don’t mind if you’re “late” with the palms out Sundays. We’re just ecstatic when they drop. Like others have said, it’s a real pleasure to receive a text message, IM, email or phone call from friends saying “Dude! Palms Out is back with some fresh shit this week, check it!” We love what you’re doing, and you deserve all the daps in the world for putting it together in your spare time. Palms Out is hands down the best blog out there, as someone said above it is VERY closely watched by people in the UK. There are so many blogs just rehashing the same stuff as everyone else or uploading the latest promos from the labels but this blog goes much deeper and promotes all sorts of stuff. I can count the number of blogs that really matter to me and friends (who all work in dance music/music industry for what its worth) on the fingers of one hand and this is certainly one of them.
Ignore the one or two daft comments on here, on any net forum the angry types who like to be the fly in the ointment are always over-represented since they’re more motivated to post their rants. Truth is that for every person who complains there are 1000 people quietly enjoying the amazing stuff you’re enearthed. I’m one of the people who doesn’t normally post comments but just thought i’d show some love for this amazing blog and all the other work you’re doing with labels/promotion etc.
Keep up the good work.
ps. to people who just want to be spoon fed bangers by well known artists go and buy something please. No excuses for music fans not supporting artists they like! Blogs (good ones at least) aren’t there for freeloaders to steal music.

Palmsout is a one of a kind blog, a blog that u won’t find anywhere else it is supported by a lot of dj’s and producers. Also Haldan is working his ass off to give all this nice music for free to everybody. Please stop moaning, if u don’t like what u hear, don’t download remix sunday anymore and spare us from all the complaints !!!
Oh and also….a lot of remixes on palmsout are put together by people who have put a lot of effort in it, also with the purpose 2 give it away for free !

I don’t post often either, but I love this mother fucker, I check it every week, and when remix sunday doesn’t drop on sunday, I’m sweating and craving like a crackhead. I understand you guys have obligations and all that, and I’m not tripping, I’m just trying to say I love what you guys do, and I really appreciate it.
