KG, I completely agree with you.

Grindin’s a very diverse group and this list was made with each member getting 15 votes from over 50+ nominated songs.

I used all 15 of my votes on the same three songs. Two of which made the list: Rushing to Paradise and La Mezcla (although it came out in 2008, it really broke at WMC). The one that didn’t make it was Visionquest’s remix of Kiki’s Good Voodoo…

[...] is the only Jakwob track I’ve listened to that really resonates with me. It made the Grindin top 20 songs of 2009, a list that I respect more than Pitchfork [...]

I’m not sure why Hyph Mngo is #1 but… I’m also not sure why the Gucci Vump – “Sha! Shtil!” remix is on this list? What was looked at on this track? I hear too much of Sebastian – Motor in it to think it all that innovative – and when you put it next to Fuck Buttons – Solar Surf, it looks downright childish. That Fuck Buttons song is a religious experience. Enough said. Also Health is VERY forward thinking and should not be behind HoH.

While I enjoy the song, personally, Hyph Mngo was def. not one of my top songs of 2010 – a handful of my votes made it onto the list, I mostly based my voting around what songs were staples of my DJ sets this year (mostly focused on summer and onward though, as most year end lists tend to be). I gave up on getting my top home listening selections in there as they didnt have a chance.

Dude, Major Lazer IS part Diplo. Granted I prefer he not go it alone anymore.

What happened to the comment after MJ? Are you screening and censoring comments? Weak if so.

Yes, comments go into a queue before being posted. Weak? No. Spam protection, YES!
