Blogging…with a Jealous tint.
Australia is an annoyingly good place. I’ve never actually been there; but lets be honest it’s a bit too cool for school; millions of brilliant beaches, a seemingly never ending supply of ‘festivals’ and a gang of musicians / producers steadily taking over the world. I was even going to draw some blood by discussing the fact that it’s nearly winter over there now, whilst we’re hitting the dizzy heights of 18′c…but it turns out it’s still 30′c over there. Which makes it even more obscene that people like Adamwah are able to make music. As one third of Destroy Disco, he has been part of one of the most consistent names in the industry for a couple of years now and that looks set to continue on through our ‘summer’ (which might, for the UK, be quite an ironic term again this year). Adamwah is a new alias that is showing a more techy & progressive side – leaving the banger nature of Destroy Disco behind but incorporating the production quality for which he has become famed. The fact that he can find time within his schedule to knock out tracks of this quality alongside other top notch bits leads me to conclude that, despite their share of lovely weather and scenery; all these people spend too much time in a studio – rendering them pastier than me. I’ll just keep telling myself that…
