Kotchy Remix Contest Winners
A few months ago, we ran a remix contest for one of our favorite Brooklyn experimentalists, Kotchy- and his single “She Made It Easy”There were so many great mixes turned in that Seclusiasis decided to package them together as a remix EP, and sell them for the low price of $3. My personal favorite of the bunch is by the very secretive The Plain Ensemble. With a sound reminicient of Prefuse 73 or Machinedrum, we hear Kotchy covered in a firestorm of FM glitches, piano chops, and static stabs- all surrounding a beautiful classical piano breakdown.
