Sounds of Summer 07 – URCHINS!
So next up in our Summer Mixtape Amnesty is one by…..ourselves! (Attempting not to fall into third person here) After telling everyone else to do “summer themed mixtapes” I suppose it was only fair that we delivered a mix ourselves – and we’ve crammed it full of old funk, jazz and motown with a sprinkling of shamefully cheesy 90′s house and a couple of chillout tunes to finish you off. We’ve been really pleased with the project so far, hopefully our mix works really well in the sunshine; it certainly helped that the weather was lovely here whilst we were making it! This mix was supposed to be promoting our Potty Mouth EP, which has unfortunately been delayed and will be upon the world in July now. It’s been a long time coming so we’re hyped about it seeing daylight! We’re working on an EP with Spoek at the minute too, so keep em peeled! Feeling slightly strange about talking about ourselves this much, so check out the mix and hopefully it tells you a little bit more about what we want to hear during the summer months!
