It seems that the summer is back with a vengeance over here; it’s very rare we Brits get hotter weather than Tenerife…and yet still 80% of the population wonder why they get sunburnt when they sit outside all day without suncream. The other 20% moan that it’s now ‘too hot’. Todays mixtape is more soothing than a bottle of camomile on your peeling, chargrilled skin – a real trip through some obscure but ultimately beautiful noises, held together with a thread of summer vibes. It comes to you from Japan’s most famed producer; a man who is currently touring America on the back of numerous huge releases on labels like Southern Fried and Dim Mak under his new guise; whilst his past reveals a hugely succesful and eclectic musical career in his homeland. I love the whole Sounds of Summer series but i'm REALLY glad someone ran w/ the name and actually did a sounds of summer mix and not just a dance mix. All the tracks are SO good!!!!

Like always, Shinichi puts out good shit. I was bored and made a .cue sheet for the mix, thus the tracks appear in a playlist. I use foobar2000 so I don't know if this works in itunes or whatever.
