I’m so happy to finally let you all hear the song “Soda” from my upcoming record with Le1f, entitled Liquid. It premiered yesterday on Life+Times, but I wanted to make sure my Palms Out people were privy. Liquid is out on vinyl and digital this Monday, November 19th on Boysnoize Records–– preview the whole release on soundcloud–– and keep your eyes peeled for the upcoming video for “Soda” directed by Sam Jones. Zhala – “Slippin Around” (Video)

Zhala is, and has been for some time, one of the greatest lurking talents in Sweden, which is saying plenty, given how fraught with musical genius that country is. I was lucky enough to share a stage with her and Shamoun (an equally exciting character) at the Gagnef/Skankaloss festival a few summers ago, and they put on a very impressive show. It was no east act to follow, no way. Fast forward a few years, and here she is again, better than ever, and seemingly ready to take over.
